Civil Warranty Policy

🔧 Warranty Includes

Custom Design Interiors Pvt. Ltd. offers a 🛠️ 1-year service warranty on craftsmanship. This covers defects in workmanship, fittings, and installation under normal residential or commercial use. Our expert team ensures that each project meets the highest standards of quality and durability.

🚫 Warranty Excludes

This warranty ❌ excludes any damage caused by external factors such as water leakage, electrical issues, pest infestation, misuse, or structural alterations. Normal wear and tear, color fading, and customer-made modifications are not covered. The warranty is valid only under proper usage as per design guidelines.

Plumbing Warranty Policy

✅ Warranty Inspection & Rectification

If a defect is found within our scope of work, 🛠️ CDI will inspect the issue through an authorized company representative. Upon validation, the defect will be rectified free of charge, ensuring our commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Warranty is applicable only when the issue aligns with the original scope and usage guidelines.

🚱 Leakage in Plumbing or Sanitary Pipes

CDI covers issues related to leakage in concealed plumbing or sanitary pipes as part of our warranty policy. If such leakage is proven to be due to workmanship or installation error, it will be resolved by our team. This does not include damage caused by physical force or third-party intervention.

🚫 Exclusion: Plumbing Fixtures

Please note, CDI’s warranty policy does not cover plumbing fixtures such as taps, faucets, nozzles, showers, water closets, or angle valves. These components are supplied as part of the design but fall under manufacturer warranties. Any malfunction or defect in these items must be addressed directly with the respective brand or supplier.

💧 Exclusion: Poor Water Quality

CDI is not liable for damages caused by the quality of water supply to your property. Issues such as rusting, clogging, discoloration, or damage to fittings resulting from hard or impure water fall outside the scope of our warranty, as these are external environmental factors beyond our control.

🛑 Exclusion: Mishandling or Physical Damage

Any physical damage or mishandling of plumbing or interior components voids the warranty. CDI’s responsibility covers only normal usage conditions. Accidental breakage, impact damage, or misuse of installations is not covered and will require paid servicing or external repair, as per the nature of the damage.

🧰 Exclusion: Unauthorized Repairs

CDI’s warranty becomes null and void if plumbing or related works are repaired or altered by any person other than a CDI-authorized representative. Unauthorized tampering or third-party servicing can affect the integrity of the design and fittings, and hence disqualifies the space from warranty claims.

🧩 CDI Liability: Fitting & Fixing Issues

CDI accepts full responsibility for any problems related to the fixing of fittings and fitments supplied and installed by us. 🧱 If issues like loosening, misalignment, or detachment arise due to installation error, our team will inspect and rectify the problem promptly, ensuring all components are securely and properly fitted.

False Ceiling Warranty Policy

🎨 False Ceiling Paint Reapplication Warranty

Custom Design Interiors Pvt. Ltd. shall provide repair and labor 🛠️ for the reapplication of paint on false ceilings, only in the affected portion, if failure occurs due to workmanship issues. This includes paint peeling, chipping, or any surface imperfection resulting from improper application. Our team ensures a smooth, restored finish that blends seamlessly with the surrounding area.

🧱 Board Integrity & Surface Defects Coverage

We offer warranty coverage for issues related to board integrity, including flaking, peeling of joint compound, or detachment from the substrate. 🚫 Visible cracks on the surface caused by poor installation are also covered under this policy. CDI ensures your ceiling remains durable, crack-free, and securely bonded as part of our quality workmanship commitment.

Paint Warranty Policy

✅ Warranty Applicability

If a defect is discovered and validated through inspection by a company-authorized representative 👷‍♂️, it will be rectified in accordance with the warranty claim policy outlined below:

  • 🎞️ Film Integrity – Covers flaking or peeling of paint caused by one coat detaching from another, or the paint film coming off from the substrate.

  • 🎨 Color Fading – Discoloration or fading of paint under normal interior conditions is covered.

  • 🌿 Fungus & Algae Formation – Warranty applies if fungus or algae spreads across more than 10 sq. feet of the wall surface.

❌ Warranty Exclusions

The warranty shall be void under the following conditions:

  • 💧 Water Drips or Leaks from External Sources – Intermittent dripping due to nearby vegetation, AC units, plant pots, or any source of external water leakage is not covered.

  • 🌊 Capillary Water Rise or Continuous Dampness – Water penetration from the ground or persistent dampness and seepage on wall surfaces is excluded from warranty coverage.

  • 🔥 Damage from Heat, Fire, or Chemicals – Any damage caused by fire, heat exposure, corrosive/abrasive agents, or post-handover rework by the client voids the warranty.

  • ☀️ Exterior Exposure – Paint damage resulting from exposure to external weather conditions or improper sealing is not covered by the company.

  • ☀️ Color Fading from Sunlight – Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight that causes fabric or surface discoloration is excluded.

🛏️ No Alternative Accommodation Provided

CDI shall not be liable for providing alternative accommodation during any repair or service work. 🧳 Customers are responsible for making their own living arrangements, if needed, while repairs are being performed.

❌ Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

Warranty does not cover any damage, failure, or defect caused by the following external factors:
